General Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 · May 18, 2025

This document is legally binding in English.

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to the service offered on "leadro.ch" and alternative domains and/or subdomains (the "Service"), provided by Leadro, Bremgartnerstrasse 48, 8003 Zurich (Switzerland) (the "Provider"), and may be used by any visitor capable of action (the "Participant") after complete and truthful registration. By agreeing to the GTC during registration, they become effective and are deemed accepted. The GTC valid at the time an order is placed shall apply.

2. Description of service

The Service enables the Participant to access information from the Swiss commercial registry and to send letters to businesses via Swiss Post. The Participant selects businesses and creates letters to be physically delivered. After validation and sufficient credit, the letter is handed to a Print Service Provider for printing, franking and handover to a Postal Service Provider for delivery. Support is provided by e-mail on a "best effort" basis unless otherwise agreed.

3. Subject matter of the contract

The subject matter is the provision of commercial registry data, the creation of letters, their validation for postal dispatch and their transmission to the Print Service Provider. Delivery of letters by the Postal Service Provider is not part of this contract. The Provider's obligation is fulfilled with the handover of the letter to the Postal Service Provider.

4. Order verification, issuance and revocation

An order is placed when a letter is created and released for further processing. As processes are automated and partly carried out by third parties, there is no right of revocation; however, orders can be withdrawn via the application up to a certain point, in particular before letters are handed to a Print Service Provider.

5. Data collection and recording

The Provider may collect and process personal data necessary to fulfil the Service, particularly during registration. Handling of data is specified in a separate data protection declaration and the GDPR, which form part of these GTC. Only the most necessary data is collected.

6. Powers of attorney

The Provider or contracted Print Service Provider delivers the letter to a Postal Service Provider on an authorised basis. The delivery contract is concluded directly between the Participant and the Postal Service Provider and is subject to that provider's terms, over which the Provider has no influence.

7. Letter content

The Participant is solely liable for the content of a letter and any damage caused by it. Unlawful or abusive content is not permitted, including derogatory, racist or pornographic content, threats, blackmail, insults, slander, defamation, false news, or sending under a false identity. The Provider does not check content but may examine, secure and pass on letters based on evidence or requests from law enforcement to avert damage. Where such content is found, the Service is stopped and fees retained; accounts may be blocked.

8. Commercial Registry Data

The Service provides access to publicly available Swiss commercial registry data. The Provider does not guarantee accuracy, completeness or timeliness. The Participant shall use the data only for the purposes intended by the Service and shall not:

  • Scrape, download or mass extract the data for purposes outside the Service
  • Redistribute, sell or otherwise make the data available to third parties
  • Use the data in a way that violates applicable data protection laws

9. Participant's due diligence obligations

Credentials (passwords, API keys) must be handled carefully and protected against misuse. The Participant bears all consequences of the use of their access data and must take suitable protective measures. If unauthorised access is suspected, credentials must be changed immediately and the Provider notified at support@leadro.ch. The Participant is responsible for independently backing up data and for ensuring lawful use of the Service.

10. Prices and payment

Registration is free; costs arise when sending letters, payable via "Leadro Credits" or against invoice. Leadro Credits are generally non-refundable and do not represent a monetary credit. The prices shown at the time of dispatch apply, minus agreed discounts. Letters are processed only with sufficient credit or authorised invoicing. In case of default, the Provider may suspend the Service and charge 5% interest plus a reminder fee equivalent to CHF 20.

11. Communication via e-mail

By placing an order, the Participant agrees that confirmations, invoices and status notifications are sent to the registered e-mail address. These can only be stopped by deleting the account. The Participant is responsible for ensuring their e-mail address is deliverable.

12. Liability of the Provider

The Provider endeavours to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access and may interrupt it for maintenance or security. The Provider disclaims liability for any specific use or direct or indirect damage, in particular from incorrect processing, delivery time, or non-delivery, and makes no warranty regarding registry data. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the letters concerned.

13. Account termination and deletion

The account can be terminated at any time by deletion in the Service or by registered mail (with identification). After termination, no further letters are processed unless already handed to a third party. The Provider may terminate participation with at least 10 days' notice, or without notice in cases of misuse (including payment misuse and unauthorised chargebacks). For each unjustified chargeback, a handling fee equivalent to CHF 100 is charged. Leadro Credits available at termination expire and are non-refundable.

14. Law and place of jurisdiction

Should provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The law of the Swiss Confederation applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
